Terms of Service

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You're responsible for keeping access to your email inbox secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

You retain all rights to the resumes, job postings, and other content you upload or submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — for example, to generate a tailored resume or cover letter. You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that Your Content is accurate.

We'll use AI to generate tailored resumes and cover letters based on Your Content. You own the output. We don't guarantee that the output is error-free, or that it will lead to any specific job outcome. You are responsible for reviewing output before using it.

Prices are displayed in the Service and billed through Stripe. Pay-as-you-go purchases are final; if a generation fails we will refund the associated credit back to your balance automatically. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel from the Billing page at any time. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of the paid period.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, email hi@thejobisyours.comand we'll review it.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to misrepresent your skills, credentials, or experience.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights.
• Upload malware, or attempt to disrupt or overload our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We strive for high availability but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheJobIsYours is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or via a prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is based, without regard to conflict of law rules.
